The National Association of Electrical Distributors, That’s Who.

For nearly one hundred years the National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED) has served as the trade association for the Electrical Distribution industry. We’re a not-for-profit organization that works with our distributor and manufacturer members to tackle common issues and concerns that help them grow their business.  We do this by teaming manufacturers and distributors into work groups to decide the best way to tackle common issues and concerns to improve our mutual businesses. We are also an industry concerned with conserving our nation’s natural resources and protecting our environment. That’s why we work with government agencies on energy conservation programs like Energy Star that promote “green” products and appliances.

An important part of our mission is to provide lots of educational and networking events for our members. We conduct meetings and conferences as well as provide training and market research through the NAED Education & Research Foundation. We also publish articles about successful marketing efforts, trends and research, as well as new product introductions through our TED Magazine publication. Additionally, our staff travels extensively, visiting member companies to update them on our service offerings and provide on-site education and training for their team members.
