- Identifies market opportunities and sets objectives for sales team
- Works effectively with managers to accomplish objectives
- Attends trade association meetings and events to network and promote company
- Forecasts sales accurately
- Secures an appropriate gross margin and measures/analyzes sales results
- Integrates sales functions with all other company areas
- Identifies customer needs and allocates proper company resources to meet them
- Assists sales team in improving customer processes
- Maintaining effective communication with customer base
- Hires, motivates, trains and coaches an effective sales force
- Monitors call and expense reports
- 4 year college degree preferred
- Minimum 4 years successful, progressive sales experience preferred
- Minimum 1 year managing and mentoring salespeople preferred
