Purchasing Manager

• Oversees, obtains, and maintains the process of acquisition of materials and supplies from vendors
• Negotiates with vendors for best price on goods and services as well as locating and qualifying potential suppliers
• Manages the supplier conformance to the contract and to the expectations of performance to quality, delivery, quantity, service and cost reduction expectations
• Analyzes and evaluates inventory and delivery problems and implements solutions to solve them
• Submits written or verbal requests for quotation to vendors and creates purchase orders to suppliers
• Creates and updates records of vendor master data
• Resolves shipment discrepancies and other issues
• Responsible for processing and return of materials/supplies
• Performs cost analysis and volume planning
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 years purchasing experience preferred
